expansion joint leakage, settlement joint leakage, tunnel leakage, mine shaft leakage, civil air defense leakage, dam leakage repair, etc.
3. Grouting – Structural Strengthening & Reinforcement Applications
Floor hollowing, crack reinforcement, bridge reinforcement and other structural strengthening projects.
II. Expansion Joint Operating Rules
- 1.Locate the leaking area of the expansion joint.
- 2.Drill 26 mm grouting holes at the leaking section, 5–10 cm away from the expansion joint, at an inclined angle of 45° (angle can be adjusted according to wall thickness). The holes should reach the expansion joint cavity. Typical hole spacing: 50 cm – 100 cm.
- 3.Insert and firmly fix cement mortar packers into the drilled holes.
- 4.Determine grouting pressure and volume according to the actual leakage condition.Use the SL-700 cement mortar grouting machine to inject cement mortar (particle size ≤ 2 mm) into the expansion joint. When mortar emerges from adjacent areas, move to the next hole and grout under specified pressure until the expansion joint is fully filled. Then turn off the power and close the valve.
- 5.Clean the machine upon completion. After daily use, thoroughly clean the hopper, hoses, packers and screw connectors to ensure proper operation the next day.
- 6.After the cement mortar in the expansion joint is fully cured, remove the packers, seal the holes with fast-setting cement, and apply SL-200 waterproof coating.
III. Spraying Operating Rules
- 1.Before startup, pour clean water into the hopper. Turn on the drill to run at an appropriate speed to circulate and moisten the pipeline, then drain the water completely.Pour well-stirred material into the hopper. Securely connect the cement hose,
- 2.spray gun or grouting packer to the machine outlet.
- 3.Before spraying, pressurize the air compressor to 6–8 kg (matched with 0.26–0.36 m³ pump), then install the nozzle.
- 4.Connect power, aim the spray gun at the hopper, adjust air volume and spraying speed to achieve optimal spraying condition. Do not turn off the air supply when stopping the machine.
- 5.Once properly adjusted, start spraying on the working surface immediately.
- 6.During construction, avoid long downtime while hoses are filled with coating. In case of power failure, disconnect and clean the hoses immediately.
- 7.If pressure remains in the pipeline, cover the hose with cloth before disassembly to protect your eyes from injury.
- 8.If the machine fails to start, first check whether the drill is burned out and replace it immediately if needed.
- 9.When cleaning the machine during or after operation, do not splash water onto the drill or electrical box to avoid damage or electric leakage.
- 10.After daily use, thoroughly clean the hopper, hoses, spray gun and screw connectors to ensure proper operation the next day.
- 11.If weak discharge pressure is noticed after prolonged use, replace the screw pressure pump.
- 12.If the machine suddenly stops feeding while the drill is still running, the spray nozzle is clogged. Stop the machine immediately, clean the nozzle, then resume operation.
- 13.The nozzle is a wearing part (same as the screw pressure pump). The standard nozzle diameter is 4 mm.Replace the nozzle immediately if atomization is unsatisfactory.
